Mainly analys the defects of traditional default forward routing strategies in wireless multi-hop environment, such as status inconsistency, Internet host routing missing, duplicate route discovery and not support the connectivity of multi-gateway. And proposed an enhanced default forward routing strategies to alleviate these problems. After conducting a theoretical analysis, analysis the performance of default gateway forward route in carrying CBR and TCP business separately, with multi-gateway circumstances and based on NS2 simulation platform. Including the average packet loss rate, transmission delay, the regulation of one control overhead, gateway switching frequency, and substitution rate performance.These research conclusions will promote the fast deployment of MANET and increase the importance of MANET in the commercial areas.
